A lot of change in a little year

It's been a busy and productive year at Paradigm. In the last 14 months, we’ve added four new employees, which makes a big difference in a company that previously had just seven people! Here's a recap of what we've been working on this year:

Paradigm 2018 New Work

Expanding our Website Team

After a year of steady growth, our sister company, Paradigm Digital, is merging with Paradigm Marketing and bringing our website development in-house. In the last year alone, we have launched 16 full websites for our clients in addition to a variety of landing pages. To continue meeting the growing demand for websites, we've hired another full-time developer, Andrew Gray, to help us to accommodate our busy workload.

Improving Our Digital Advertising

In April, we hired a Digital Advertising Specialist, Katrina Warme, who specializes in SEO, Google AdWords, and Social Media strategy. Since then, Katrina has been actively working to ensure we’re launching and maintaining our websites in accordance with the most up-to-date SEO standards. We’ve also been regularly reviewing the analytics of our websites and social accounts, allowing us to set goals and track metrics for the success of our online marketing.

Having all aspects of marketing in-house, from branding to AdWords to video production, allows us to create cohesive brands and offer a better understanding of marketing ROI for our clients.

More Video and Photography

With the help of our own Jonny Pineda and Hannah Sigler, we’ve broken our record for number of videos produced in a year, including projects for clients such as Semmes Murphey, Bella Vita, Share One, and MCUTs. We’ve also been able to utilize the skills of Katrina Warme, who in addition to her other areas of expertise, is a talented photographer.

Virtual Reality and Our Work With Oculus Rift

Our animation team has been working to create fully immersive tours in Oculus Rift, the leading Virtual Reality platform. This allows our real estate clients to virtually showcase apartments and renovations months before construction is complete. Viewers can walk around in a 360-degree model, interact with the environment, turn lights on and off, and even play games within a tour. This means our real estate clients can lease units sooner before paying to furnish a model apartment, saving thousands.

We also have the ability to program Oculus Go, which includes a portable headset so potential customers can view a simulation in the actual environment or in a leasing office without being plugged into a pc. We’re very excited about the future of where this industry is headed!

New Paradigm Leaders

Paradigm has promoted two of its longtime employees to leadership positions: Jeff Glenn and myself. This year, Charles, Jeff, and I have been spending time thinking through our processes in order to improve the services we offer our clients and the culture we create for our team. Our main goal is to prioritize message and story in every step of the creative journey to create more thoughtful, deliberate, and effective work.

A year packed with Branding

In this year alone, our talented team of 3 designers created 16 logos, 16 full websites, and a countless number of ads, brochures, and stationary packages. We were privileged to work with excellent clients such as Bella Vita, Sundara Wellness, Miestro Home Integration, Bonfire Pizza, Bellano Dental, Venice Kitchen, and Billie’s Pecans, to name just a few. We’re proud to say that our work for these clients is some of our best yet.

We’re also honored to design the creative for this year’s Memphis Addy’s, an award for the American Advertising Federation that recognizes each city’s top advertising. Our theme for this year’s awards show in February: Design Prom. Should be a blast.

For the fifth year in a row, we also sent our designers to an annual Memphis Creative Works Conference where they got to hear top designers from around the country speak about everything from tips for improving hand lettering to the importance of storytelling in film.

A Lot to Look Forward to

We’ve got plenty of exciting things planned for 2019, including a new company website. Make sure to follow us online for updates to see more of our work! Have a great 2019,
